Get to know me.
Hey, I’m Eva! I’m a 24-year-old stay-at-home mom, wife, homemaker, big thinker and passionate home cook, but my journey into this lifestyle didn’t start the way you might think.
Before becoming a mother, I was deep into the fitness world—counting calories, hitting protein goals, and eating whatever it took to fuel my workouts. My diet was packed with ultra-processed, artificially enhanced foods, but I didn’t think twice about it. That all changed when I became a mom.
When my son was born, he had severe reflux, and I was determined to continue breastfeeding. That meant taking a hard look at my own diet, healing my gut, and in turn, helping his. As I researched, I realized how many synthetic additives and preservatives are in the foods we buy—disrupting our gut health and overall well-being. This led me down a deep rabbit hole, not just in food but in our entire home. I started eliminating products I used daily, things I had never questioned before, and replacing them with options that actually supported our health.
Since cutting out ultra-processed foods and focusing on 90% whole foods, I have never looked or felt better. My face has changed, my body has changed, and my energy levels have completely transformed—which, let’s be honest, is something you hardly ever hear from a mom postpartum. In many ways, I even feel sharper. To put it into perspective, I ran a half marathon at 9 months postpartum after only one month of training! That’s the power of real food and taking care of your body the way nature intended.
I’m originally from New Zealand, married to my best friend Nik. We got engaged when I was 19, married at 21 (after Covid postponed our wedding one too many times), and are currently living in Queensland, Australia. But our hearts are set on moving back to New Zealand in the future.
In our home, we embrace and value traditional gender roles, and it’s in this space that I’ve found my greatest purpose—caring for my family, creating a home filled with love, and sharing my passion for real, wholesome food.
Thanks for being here, I can’t wait to share this journey with you!
