These simple, crispy sourdough discard crackers are a great way to use up leftover discard. The recipe is completely scalable—just use 100g of sourdough discard for every 1 tablespoon of butter. Perfect for snacking or pairing with dips and cheeses!
2 ingredient Sourdough Crackers
Ingredients:
100g sourdough discard (adjust as needed)
1 tbsp melted butter (adjust proportionally)
Flaky sea salt, to taste
Instructions:
Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 160°C (320°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix Ingredients: In a bowl, combine the sourdough discard and melted butter. Stir until fully incorporated.
Spread Thinly: Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into a very thin, even layer using a spatula.
Add Salt: Sprinkle flaky sea salt evenly over the top.
Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
Cool & Break: Let the crackers cool completely before breaking them into pieces.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
