Homemade Apple Crumble Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Apple Filling:

  • 1kg apples (Pink Lady or Granny Smith work best)

  • 1 tbsp flour

  • ½ cup white sugar

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice or water

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

For the Crumble Topping:

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1 cup oats

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • ½ tsp baking soda

  • ½ cup melted butter

Instructions:

Step 1: Prep the Apples

Peel, core, and slice the apples. Toss them in a bowl with flour, sugar, lemon juice (or water), and cinnamon until evenly coated.

Step 2: Make the Crumble

In a separate bowl, mix the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and baking soda. Pour in the melted butter and mix until it forms a crumbly texture.

Step 3: Assemble & Bake

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Spread the apple mixture evenly in a baking dish, then sprinkle the crumble mixture on top. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden and bubbling.
